Scandinavian design born from acoustics

Scandinavian design is known for its clean lines, practicality, and timeless aesthetics. In the ZONE speaker, these characteristics are not merely born from visual considerations – the design emerged from technical solutions.

The ZONE was originally designed from an audio perspective. The speaker's body functions as part of its acoustic structure, helping to distribute sound energy into the surroundings. The structure evenly directs sound around it through its oval apertures and also transfers some of the vibrations to the surface on which the speaker rests.

Timeless Scandinavian design luminaire blends into the space without looking like a traditional electronic device, so ZONE fits naturally into a living room as a TV Soundbar, for example (EQ 4).

Lighting as part of the user experience

In ZONE, lighting is an integral part of the overall product concept. The built-in RGB ambient light creates a soft and even glow that enhances the atmosphere of the space.The light works naturally together with the music, making the speaker versatile. It can, for example, serve as ambient lighting in social and party settings.

ZONE base light – intelligent LED illumination

The integrated dusk-activated base light of the ZONE speaker provides indirect white LED illumination for situations where extra light is needed. It is specifically designed to improve usability in low-light conditions: the base light brightly illuminates the ground when carrying ZONE, making movement easier and increasing safety outdoors, at the cottage, or along a sauna path.

ZONE’s base light utilizes intelligent dusk sensing, automatically activating based on ambient lighting conditions. The light turns on when the surroundings get dark and switches off in bright environments. This enhances user comfort and energy efficiency without the need for manual adjustment.

ZONE is not just a speaker or a light—it is a complete concept where sound, illumination, and practicality come together in a thoughtfully designed product. The base light adds safety and ease of use while subtly and elegantly enhancing the atmosphere of the space.
